Joe wrote and directed Trance for Sky Pictures in 2001 and co-wrote the version filmed by Danny Boyle in 2013.
He has created, written and directed a number of TV series including Ultraviolet starring Idris Elba for Channel 4.He wrote two episodes of BBC cult hit This Life, which won a Writers’ Guild award for the script team in 97. He directed three episodes including The Secret of My Excess for which Daniela Nardini won a BAFTA. Joe was the only contributor to write and direct on the series. His latest 3 part TV series is The Replacement for the BBC.
Joe’s first short as writer/director I’m A Feminist Myself screened at the London and Edinburgh Film Festivals 92-93. His second, Latin For A Dark Room written by Scottish Poet Laureate Liz Lochhead was nominated for a Scottish BAFTA and selected for best of the Edinburgh Film Festival in 94. Lead Siobhan Redmond won a Scottish BAFTA.
He directed five episodes of the BAFTA award-winning first season of Doctor Who for which he was nominated for a directing BAFTA in 2005.
He has written scripts for Stefan Arndt; Warner Brothers and Disney Studios.
Jayne’s first feature film Dartmoor Killing was released in September 2015 across 35 screens in London and the South West. It won Best Thriller at the 2016 National Film awards and Best Premier under 99 screen at the 2016 Screen Awards.
Nominated for a BAFTA for her moving portrayal of women with HIV and AIDS for Channel 4, Jayne has produced and directed documentaries for all the major broadcasters and is also an accomplished drama and commercials director. Her drama series directing credits include Hollyoaks, Grange Hill and Brookside. She directed single dramas The Bench by Nick Darke, with Maria Aitken and Lesley Grantham and The Anorak, with Sandi Toskvig for HTV.
Jayne has produced a number of shorts including I’ll Tell You by Writer/Director BAFTA winner Rachel Tillotson. The film was shown in competition at international festivals, including Clermont Ferrand, and in the UK at the BFI London Short Film Festival. It won the Best of The West at the 2011 Encounters Festival. Represented by Some Like It Short it has been sold to all the major territories.
Projects in development include: The White Lake, a supernatural thriller by Sian Naomi; Elephants In The Room by novelist Patricia Cori; Flesh and Blood a comedy/horror by Jordan Waller and another feature film with B&B writer/director Joe Ahearne.
Nick started his career in documentaries, shooting in over sixty countries, from the deserts of the Sahara and Atacama to the pyramids and the Great Wall of China. Nick’s drama work includes many BAFTA and RTS winning productions including Bodies, Pompeii – The Last Day, Shameless, Skins – for which he was personally nominated for a BAFTA and RTS Awards for photography and lighting.
His first feature Dartmoor Killing won Best Thriller at the 2016 National Film Awards. he has recently completed the TV series Brief Encounters for ITV and 3 part series The Replacement for BBC.
Gareth is an experienced feature film Line Producer/ Production Manager. Credits include the BIFA nominated and BAFTA Cymru winning The Passing, Craig Roberts directorial debut Just Jim, The Chamber and Panic Button. He also produced The Sleeping Room, the first UK online crowd equity funded film.
Iain has worked in film and TV for over 25 years. His freelance career started in the 80’s working on over 200 promos and 100 commercials followed by drama series for Yorkshire TV, ITV Productions, Granda, Tyne Tees and BBC. He has designed a number of feature films including: Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Hot Gold, Congregation of Ghosts, Weekend Retreat and Dartmoor Killing.
Arianna works extensively in TV and Film. Her film work includes: Too Much Too Young, Dartmoor Killing, Devil’s Tower and Servants Quarter. This year she has been Costume Designer on The Black Prince with Jason Flemyng and comedy It’s All About Manners.
Jutta began her career in the West End theatre and then moved over to commercials and pop promos, fashion shows and editorials. For the last fifteen years she worked as a Make Up and Hair Designer. Her TV credits include The Watchman, The Whale,The Queen and My Brother Tom.
Jutta has worked on a number of high profile feature films including: Saving Private Ryan, The Mummy, The Fifth Element, Warhorse and most of the Harry Potter films.
Simon won an Primetime Emmy for his work on Pompeii: The Last Day and was also nominated for a BAFTA. He has worked on over 40 television drama and documentary series including The Enfield Haunting, The Incredible Human Journey, The Raging Planet, Revealed and Primeval.
He has also worked on a number of feature films including: Dartmoor Killing, Hawking, Late Bloomers, The Scouting Boy and Dead Cool.
